 Description

Nudibranches  are mollusks that shed their shells early on because they developed other defenses. Some developed crazy shapes, colors and textures to fit into small places , some do the opposite and develope aposematic colors. they have bright colors to warn predators they are poisonous. They get the poison , by eating poisonousplants and storing the poison in their tiny bodies

habitat

Most nudibranches live in the ocean. They can also be found in tide pools and deep water. A lot in tropical waters, they are also found in artic waters and everything in between. There are even a few species that live in fresh water.

Predators and pray *Hammerhead Shark

All nudibranches are carnivores some are even cannibals

They eat sponges, sea, slugs, eggs, barnacles and coralOther predators include certain fish, sea spiders, turtles, sea stars, a few crabs, and occasionally humans.

Symbiotic relationship * Sea Sponge

A Ceratosoma nudibranch in Indonesia's Lembeh Strait hosts an imperial shrimp, who exchanges cleaning duties for a free ride and access to food.

Species comparison *Sea Sponge

They both can live in oceans and freshwater. They both have many different types. They both don’t have a lot of predators becausethe nudibranch carries poison and the sea sponge carries toxins.

The nudibranch and the sea sponge are different because the nudibranch eats the sea sponge but the sea sponge doesn’t eat the nudibranch. They are also different because the nudibranch swims and the sea sponge lives on rocks.
